HI Lisboa - Pousada de Juventude

Super ! Very polite people. Everything prepared for guests. Towels for free. Bedding clean and fresh. Toilets clean, number of showers. Room access with card - professional! Free luggage store for whole day. Breakfast included in night stay. Cheap ! Service helpfull and with smile on their face. Hostel just few steps from metro station, then only 5 minutes to city center, 10 to old town.

Location was awesome (two metro stations near by - Parque & Marquês). The main bus / train station is only a couple of stops away too. Easy to get to the center (Rossio) within a 20-30min walk. Breakfast was simple but everything needed (cereal, fruits, yogurts, coffee machine, milk & fruit juice, bread, toaster, ham / cheese, jams & butter) to feel satisfied before heading out for a long day. Elevator working properly. Shared bathrooms were overall clean and the hot water worked perfectly in the showers. I was in a female 6-bedroom bed but luckily we were only 3 persons staying and my roommates were super quiet and discreet. We kept the window open during the night because of the hot weather but we didn't have any problem with noise from the outside. I also arrived a bit earlier than the predicted check in time, the staff was super nice and took the payment and kept my bags until the room was ready. They also kept my bag for a couple of hours after check it and it was a free service.

breakfast is good - you get musli, fruits, yogurt, cheese and ham, coffee and other drinks the room is basic but it had three sockets for charging and not one - what I expected based on the comments of others who stayed in this property, but anyway, it was a good idea to bring with me an extension for charging three appliances Location is simply amazing, you can walk to the Plaza de Comercia in 10 minutes by Avenida street, and return by Principe Reale street, it is very centrally located in the hotels area - next to Hilton, there are several metro stations nearby, and a bus stop for bus that will take you directly to Belem.

Breakfast is good. We have breads, toasts, yogurts, cheese, cereal, fruits, plenty choices of tea and coffee. Breakfast time starts from 8am, till 10am. Good location. 1-2mins walk from Picoas Metro station. You can find a Supermarket once you get out of Picoas Metro. Staff spoke fluent English, nice and helpful. They has room cleaning service and provide clean towels every 3 days. Wifi was good.

The ladder to the top bunk bed, quite small, hard rungs that I found difficult and the bed wobbled a bit so I felt sad for the lady in the bunk below me when I climbed in and out. Very good breakfast and friendly staff, cheerful atmosphere in the canteen Excellent location, very close to the Metro and easy to get in and out from the airport
